born in Delray Beach, Florida and raised in Abaco, Bahamas where his quest to become an actor began. Alfred E. Rutherford is a rising actor who is driven by an incredible passion for self-expression. His roles are often noted for their unique blend of grace and fire.
Upon returning to the USA Alfred attended Saint Peter's University in Jersey City NJ, where he received his BA in Philosophy. Shortly after arriving in New York City from Jersey City, Alfred quickly secured leading roles in several short films such as "Wildflower", "The Steele Project" and the short film festival audience favorite "Swine, Liquor & White Women".

Alfred has worked very closely with the YMCA where we also worked as a Youth Sports Coordinator running such programs as YMCA Fit Club, Leaders Club, Jr Knicks (partnership between the NY Knicks and YMCA OF Greater New York) summer camps and has served as a YMCA representative to the United Nations for Youth Development. Today Alfred lectures on Youth Fitness and the growing obesity concern with Youth as well as being an advocate for literacy programs and fighting homelessness in underprivileged communities.
