Dalton James

You may know Dalton James from "Passions", "My Father The Hero", "Beverly Hills 90210", "Crosstown Traffic", "Encino Man", "The Substitute", "Crossroads", and "Macgyver".
Dalton was born and raised in Sacramento, California. With dreams of becoming a professional baseball player, he grew up riding his horse "Star", and helping his mom raise his little brother. At 18 years old, he was scouted to participate in the International Model and Talent Association Competition. Dalton was sure nothing would come of it, but he told himself if he won any of the categories, he would give acting and modeling a shot by moving to New York. Surprising himself, he won the "Best Actor" category in the competition, and off he went to the Big Apple. His first job was a Nabisco modeling job. His next job was the first spot in a campaign of notorious Sunny Delight commercials, in which he flashed his charismatic smile, and said "Purple stuff, OJ, or Sunny D?"
Success was right around the corner. Within two months Dalton booked the role of MacGyver's long lost son in the final episode of ABC's hit show "MacGyver". Dalton was offered a spin off of that show, but his managers held off, knowing even better opportunities would be coming his way. Sure enough, Dalton was cast in a starring role opposite Robert Urich in the critically acclaimed one hour drama "Crossroads", launching him into stardom. This show demonstrated some of Dalton's best dramatic acting work, and he went on to movies - starring in "The Substitute", "Encino Man", and "My Father the Hero". Back to television, Aaron Spelling cast Dalton as "Marc Reese" on the hit TV series "Beverly Hills, 90210" for the seventh season, and after a brief break Dalton was cast as "Hank Bennett" on the steamy soap "Passions".
What's next is in the making. Dalton took a hiatus from acting to spend time with his children. Now, he is taking meetings for future projects.
