Elisa Marti

"I tend to look at the positive in everything around me, even the dark gloomy times in my life, I focus on what I have learned from those experiences and put it toward a better and brighter tomorrow."

Elisa Marti

Elisa Marti was born and raised in Italy where, at an early age, she showed a great deal of passion for acting and dancing, embodying a multitude of characters and writing plays in the solitude of her bedroom. At 4 years old,  she starred as 'Alice' dancing on stage in the production 'Alice in Wonderland'. Ever since then, she has been following her artistic dream.

She attended the University of Art and Entertainment in Italy and consequently obtained her Master degree in theater at the international Film School, Sydney, Australia. She later moved to New York City, where she was accepted at the Acting Studio and at the New York Film Academy. Her training is focused on View Points, Suzuki, Meisner, Lee Strasberg and contact improvisation.

She played roles in several productions like, "Coney Island Criminals", Miss(ter) Silhouette Man", "Crystal Jukebox Hymn", and "Out of the Ash". She is an active member of the thrilling and immersive theater company 'Asylos'. She was also involved with Blessed Unrest that won the prestigious IT Awards in 2014 for best innovative theater company.

She performed in short films, such as, "Gemini" (showed in the shorts section at Cannes 2012), feature films like, "Flesh is heir to her", commercials, music videos and television shows, "Mysteries at the castle", "A Crime to Remember", and "The Ghouligans". Elisa also gave voice to the 'Archer' in the Italian commercial of "Clash of Clans".

Besides acting, Elisa is also fascinated by different cultures and the world around her. That is what motivated her to travel on her own to distant places making new and exciting discoveries.

Elisa is oriented internationally, always willing to expand her horizons, and grow both as a person and as an artist.
