James has appeared in commercials, student and festival short films, webisodes and full length features as everything from background to lead. He has appeared in productions for the Hallmark Channel to upcoming new local directors and production companies such as Back2one in Sacramento and Haunted Castle in Roseville.
He has done a number of commercials including one for the Sacramento River Cats baseball team. James also has done print work for Comstock’s, one of Sacramento’s leading business and financial magazines, as well as various voice over work. James also has experience in working behind the camera as a grip, AC, AD and special effects.
James studied Civil Engineering at Cal State Sacramento and is a fully licensed California Civil Engineer. However, acting, print and voice over are really his passion and is devoting full time to them. James lives in Galt, a small city just south Sacramento, CA, where he works as an actor. In his free time James enjoys fishing, sports, playing on his computer and updating his website.
James has been fortunate to be in some award winning productions – full length feature “Nothing Left” (supporting role) by Bac2one Productions that won the “Winner of Best Horror Film” at the 2012 AOF Film Festival and the short film “The Reception” (lead role) by Borroel Ent. that won the “Outstanding NorCal Short” at the 2012 Sacramento International Film Festival.
Also, James has had the privilege of working with such actors as the late Ed Asner and Lois Nettleton and more recently Richard Tyson and Antonio (Huggy Bear) Vargas.
