Whitney Gries was born and raised in small-town Iowa, so in other words, she can teach you how to hook the most gorgeous largemouth bass you've ever dreamed of hookin'...all while experiencing "normal" amounts of upper lip sweat. Her love affair with the art of performance began when her dad took her to her first KISS concert. This event also sparked her childhood dream of becoming Gene Simmons.
Whitney studied theatre and mass communications at Morningside College in Sioux City, IA. Upon graduation, Whitney decided it was high time to put all of those jazz, tap, ballet, and Gene Simmons impersonation classes to good use. Hollywood was calling her name and she couldn't help but go against TLC's cautionary tale, and go chasin' those waterfalls.
Since arriving, Whitney has worked both in front of and behind the camera on numerous projects and can happily report that the guy in the apartment downstairs told her she "has great hair," and "should consider selling it." Hair AND talent...you do the math.
